Philip Fowke is one of Britain's most outstanding pianists and distinguished musicians. His appearances with leading orchestras together with his many broadcasts and recordings have earned him international respect, admiration and the affection of audiences. He will play a popular programme of Bach, Schubert, Schumann and Chopin.

Saturday September 18th John Suchet "Beethoven – the last master"  - NOW SOLD OUT
John Suchet, known to millions as a TV newscaster, brings to life the greatest composer of them all. With pianist Simon Mulligan discover a Beethoven you never knew.

Sunday September 19th "Fanfare" - A family concert. We welcome back the Royal Academy of Music Brass Ensemble under their distinguished conductor James Watson. A perfect Sunday afternoon treat – the magnificent sound of brass playing popular classics in our splendid hall. Recommended for adults (of all ages!) and children aged 6 +.

 

Friday September 24th The Brook Street Band

Award winning specialists in Baroque music, taking their name from the street in London where Handel lived and worked. "So infectious is the enthusiasm of these gifted players that you find it hard to suppress a smile at the sheer energy and effervescence of their performances" The Observer

Saturday September 25th Tango Volcano  

A welcome return. Classic tangos from Piazzola amongst others and a chance to see the choreography of real Argentinean tango close up with 2 sensational dancers.
